    • Where are your Warehouse located?

      In the Kanto region, we have units in Tsuchiura City, Ibaraki. For central Japan, we’re in Nagoya City, Aichi. In Kansai, we have locations in Takatsuki City and Osaka City. In Kyushu, we’re in Fukuoka City.

    • What kind of environment do you maintain for storage?

      All our warehouse are climate-controlled.
      Trust Yamatane’s storage facilities with your household goods that can’t fit in your house.

    • Can I access my items during storage?

      Since our service is designed for long-term storage, we generally don’t allow partial retrieval of items.
      If you think you’ll need certain items while you are away, we recommend leaving them with family or friends, or taking them with you.

    • Are there items unsuitable for storage?

      Please note that following items and other items requiring regular use or maintenance may be affected during storage since we can’t perform any maintenance:

      • - Electronics such as refrigerators, washing machines, air conditioners, TVs, and stereos ‐> May malfunction or break down
      • - Fabrics such as carpets, futons, and curtains ‐> May fade unevenly or shrink
      • - Fur, kimono, and leather products ‐> May fade unevenly or shrink
      • - Steel furniture, bicycles, motorcycles ‐> May deteriorate

      While we maintain the best possible environment for household goods, we cannot guarantee the quality or operation of these items.

    • Can you store pianos?

      We can store upright pianos. For grand pianos, please contact us to discuss options.

    • How do you pack stored items?

      Our staff handles all packing. We just ask that you sort and organize everything beforehand.

    • Can I put mothballs in my stored items?

      Since we can’t open packages during storage, please add any mothballs when we pick up your items.
      We recommend dry cleaning clothes and airing out shoes before storage.

    • What paperwork is required for storage? What contracts are involved?

      You’ll need to complete a Storage Application Form and Storage Confirmation Form.

    • I’m paying for storage personally. How do I make payments?

      We offer automatic bank transfers through our partner banks.

    • What security measures protect your warehouse?

      Our units feature fire prevention systems and SP alarm systems to prevent theft, ensuring your valuable belongings stay safe.

    • How far in advance should I request return of my stored items?

      Please contact us one month in advance.

    • Are there regions where you can’t ship?

      We can ship household goods almost anywhere in the world.
