Moving Services Sorting Tips

Start preparing early once your moving date is set. You won’t have enough time if you try to do everything on moving day. Even 10 minutes a day helps!
Sort items by location, shelf, and destination. Start disposing of unwanted items while sorting.

Convenient Sorting Stickers

These sorting stickers are removable and safe to use on furniture.

Sorting Examples

Bookshelves/Shelves

Sort items by location, shelf, and destination. Put sorting stickers on shelves and drawer fronts.

Closets

It’s convenient to separate upper and lower sections or sort by storage box.

Kitchen Cabinets/Kitchenware

Put a sticker on each drawer and shelf.
For appliances like rice cookers and microwaves, put stickers directly on the items.

Boxed Tableware

For expensive tableware with original boxes, it’s safer to ship them in those boxes.

Wardrobes

Hanging clothes: It’s fine to leave them hanging, but separate them into left and right sections for clarity.
Clothes in cases: Can be shipped as is. Put stickers where they’re easily visible.

Shoes

Put stickers where they’re easily visible. You can put stickers on boxes directly.

Storage Areas

Example: domestic items and storage on the right, sea freight on the left.
If separating left and right is difficult, put sorting stickers directly on the items.

Children’s Room

Separate items needed immediately overseas from those that aren’t, and be careful not to mix them up.

Remote Controls/Toy Batteries/Cables

Keep these together for convenience. Remove batteries from remote controls before packing to prevent leaks.
Separate built-in appliance remote controls so they don’t get packed by mistake.
Remove the batteries to prevent leaks. Items with non-removable batteries can stay as is.

Desk Drawers/Small Items/Decorations

Sort into zip-lock bags so you can see the contents easily.

Printers

Remove ink cartridges beforehand to prevent leaks during transport.

Hazardous Materials

Spray cans (cosmetics, medicines, daily products) cannot be shipped overseas.
We also cannot accept gas cartridges, lighters, matches, or fireworks.

Disposing of Unwanted Items/Important Notes

We can’t handle disposal, so please dispose of items systematically before moving day.
Example: For appliances covered by recycling laws (refrigerators/freezers, washers/dryers, TVs, air conditioners), computers, and hazardous materials, please complete authorization forms and arrange disposal services.

Balcony

We cannot transport houseplants.
Please give them to friends or dispose of them.
Valuables

Be careful not to accidentally pack passports, keys, or phones. Confirm you have them by the day before moving.
Carry-on Luggage

On moving day, keep hand luggage in one place to avoid mixing it with shipment items (especially passports, flight tickets, keys, phones, etc.).

Air Freight Sorting

Keep air freight items together in one location.
If you organize everything like shown in the photo below before moving day, the work will go smoothly and we can use space efficiently. Air freight has limited capacity, so prioritize what to ship and pack your items accordingly.

Packing Materials

We’ll send boxes (S, M, L cartons, and lay-down cartons) and packing tape. Just ask if you need them.
We’ll include G-roll (white kraft paper). Place 3-4 sheets at the bottom of each box before packing. Please don’t tape boxes shut, as we need to check contents and create a shipping list.
